Play Area – A play area is available for young children and parents are responsible for supervising their child whilst playing there. Please use responsibly and report any damage immediately.
Radios etc – please respect others’ peace and quiet.
Visitors – are not permitted on the camping field. Please meet in pub or off site.
“6-meter rule” – As far as we can find, there is no legislation covering the minimum distance between units. Different clubs have different distance guidelines with ALRC advising their members 3 meters between units and 6 meters between rows to allow for cars and the camping and caravanning club saying 6 meters but allowing a car to be parked or a pup tent etc within the 6-meter space provided. The main concern is do not overcrowd your neighbours and be careful not to cause a fire or cause it to rapidly spread from one unit to another.
Barbeques – Do not burn the grass nor have when windy. Disposable BBQs must be stand on bricks available from a pallet by the washing up area. Please return after use.
Footballs / Ball Games – When the site is not busy ball games are permitted but you must avoid hitting buildings, tents and caravans If there are complaints, you must cease playing.
Campfires – due to the risks on this site, fires and campfires are not permitted.
Music – loud music should not be played in consideration to others.
Recycling Rubbish – A clean and tidy site is a welcoming site. If you see any litter, please dispose of it and place all rubbish in the large skip or glass recycling bins. Please leave the site clean. Toilets – We are not connected to municipal drainage and have to operate a small private sewerage ourselves. Please do not put hand towels nor wet wipes into toilets as these block our drains. Similarly, no food waste, fat or grease should be put down the sinks in the washing up area.
Departure Time – by 12:00 noon (Flexibility if eating lunch in the pub) Natural Hazards – Parents are advised to watch their children closely at all times and not allow them near the drainage ditches nor near the river Arun unaccompanied.
Noise – Everyone visiting / staying on site is urged to show consideration and respect to others and make no noise after 22:30. Fire Points – please make yourself aware of the fire buckets / fire points and in the event of a fire, shout out the appropriate warning.
